These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PropAIdir website, directory, reviews, accounts, listing submission features, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
PropAIdir is an independent directory and editorial research resource covering AI tools for real estate agents, brokers, and property investors. The Service may include tool profiles, research-based assessments, hands-on reviews when specifically labeled, comparison pages, educational content, newsletter content, and free tools.
Research-based assessments may rely on publicly available product information, vendor materials, demonstrations, documentation, third-party sources, and editorial analysis. A listing or review does not mean that PropAIdir has purchased, continuously tested, endorsed, certified, or guaranteed the featured product unless the page expressly says otherwise.
PropAIdir does not offer sponsored rankings or pay-to-play editorial verdicts. Buying a listing service, submitting a tool, or having a commercial relationship with the Service does not guarantee coverage, placement, ranking, score, recommendation, or a favorable review.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use account, submission, or payment features. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Accounts
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep it reasonably current, protect your credentials, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. You may not share access in a way that compromises security or misrepresents the identity of a user.
Notify us promptly at editor@propaidir.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization. We may require identity or ownership verification before changing account or listing information.
Tool Submissions
When you submit a tool, listing, image, description, link, correction, or other content ("Submitted Content"), you represent that:
- the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and is not materially misleading;
- you have the rights and permissions needed to provide the Submitted Content;
- the Submitted Content does not infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights;
- the Submitted Content does not contain malware, deceptive links, unlawful material, or undisclosed sensitive personal information; and
- your submission and the underlying product comply with applicable law.
You retain ownership of Submitted Content. You grant PropAIdir a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, edit, adapt, publish, display, distribute, and use Submitted Content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, and improve the Service and its directory.
Submission does not guarantee acceptance or publication. We may verify claims, request supporting information, edit copy for clarity and consistency, assign categories or tags, add independent analysis, reject a submission, delay publication, unpublish a listing, or remove content. Editorial decisions remain with PropAIdir.
Reviews, Rankings, and Corrections
Opinions, evaluations, comparisons, scores, and verdicts reflect editorial judgment based on information available at the time of publication. Products, features, pricing, ownership, security practices, and terms can change without notice. We do not guarantee that every page is complete, current, or error-free.
Vendors and readers may submit factual corrections. We may investigate and update content when reliable evidence supports a change. A correction request does not entitle the requester to control editorial language, conclusions, ranking, or publication timing.
Paid services do not buy a higher score, favorable language, a recommendation, or priority over independent editorial standards.
Paid Listing Services
The Service may offer paid submission, publishing, promotion, or listing-related options. Prices, included features, and applicable conditions are shown on the relevant pricing or checkout page. Payments are processed by Stripe and may be subject to Stripe's terms and privacy policy.
You authorize the stated charge when you complete checkout. You are responsible for accurate billing information and any taxes, fees, or charges that apply to your transaction. Refund eligibility, if any, is determined by the checkout terms, the status of the purchased service, and applicable law. Contact editor@propaidir.com if you believe a charge was made in error.
We may change future prices or paid features. A price change does not retroactively alter a completed purchase unless required by law or agreed with you.
Acceptable Use
You may not:
- use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive activity;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a tool or company;
- submit false reviews, fabricated evidence, undisclosed promotional claims, or misleading product information;
- scrape, crawl, copy, or extract the Service in a manner that violates applicable law, bypasses technical controls, or materially burdens our systems;
- probe, scan, disrupt, attack, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to the Service or another user's account;
- introduce malware, harmful code, spam, or automated traffic that interferes with normal operation;
- use PropAIdir branding or content to imply endorsement, certification, partnership, or sponsorship without written permission; or
- remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or rights notices from content obtained through the Service.
Reasonable use of public pages by standard browsers and search engines is permitted, subject to technical controls and these Terms.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original editorial text, research structure, ratings, selection, arrangement, branding, software, design, and graphics, is owned by PropAIdir or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may link to public pages and quote limited portions for commentary, news reporting, or other uses allowed by law, provided you give clear attribution and do not misrepresent the source. Any broader reproduction, republication, commercial database use, or redistribution requires permission unless applicable law allows it.
Product names, logos, and trademarks displayed in listings belong to their respective owners. Their appearance identifies the relevant product and does not by itself imply affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship.
Third-Party Products and Links
The Service links to third-party software, vendors, websites, payment services, and authentication providers. Those services are controlled by their respective operators and may have separate terms, pricing, privacy practices, availability, and security risks.
PropAIdir is not a party to transactions between you and a third-party vendor. You are responsible for evaluating a tool, verifying claims, reviewing its terms and privacy policy, and deciding whether it is appropriate for your business, clients, properties, data, and regulatory obligations.
No Professional Advice
Content on the Service is provided for general informational and research purposes. It is not legal, financial, investment, tax, brokerage, appraisal, cybersecurity, compliance, or other professional advice. It is also not a substitute for product due diligence, professional judgment, or advice from a qualified professional familiar with your circumstances.
Real estate and investment decisions involve risk. Do not rely solely on a directory listing, score, review, comparison, calculator, or article when making a material business or financial decision.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." PropAIdir disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, security, and uninterrupted operation.
We do not warrant that a listed tool will meet your requirements, remain available, protect your data, comply with laws applicable to you, integrate with other systems, or produce a particular business, investment, marketing, or operational result.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PropAIdir and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, goodwill, data, or use, arising from or related to the Service, third-party products, or these Terms.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may restrict or terminate access, remove Submitted Content, or suspend account features when reasonably necessary to protect the Service or users, respond to legal requirements, investigate suspected violations, prevent fraud or security harm, or enforce these Terms.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including provisions concerning licenses, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and disputes.
Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify, add, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service. We may also update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service, our practices, or applicable requirements. Revised Terms become effective when posted unless a later date is stated. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
General Terms
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect, and the affected provision will be enforced to the greatest extent permitted by law. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer these Terms as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement between you and PropAIdir concerning the Service, except where separate written terms expressly apply.
