Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 16, 2026

PropAIdir ("PropAIdir," "we," "us," or "our") operates an independent directory and review service for AI tools used by real estate agents, brokers, and property investors. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit our website, create an account, submit a listing, subscribe to email updates, or otherwise use our services (collectively, the "Service").

Information We Collect

Information you provide

We may collect information that you choose to provide, including:

  • Account information: your name, email address, profile image, profile link, authentication credentials, and information received from an OAuth provider when you choose a third-party sign-in method.
  • Listing and submission information: tool names, website links, descriptions, introductions, categories, tags, images, icons, and other information submitted for editorial review or publication. Public listing information may be displayed on the Service.
  • Newsletter information: your email address and subscription status when you join or leave our newsletter.
  • Communications: information included in messages, correction requests, support inquiries, privacy requests, or other correspondence sent to us.
  • Transaction information: identifiers and records associated with a paid listing service, such as a Stripe customer identifier, checkout session, order status, plan, and amount. Payment card details are collected and processed by Stripe rather than stored directly by PropAIdir.

Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information in listing descriptions, messages, or other free-text fields unless it is necessary for your request.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Service, our hosting, security, and analytics providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages visited, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP address, and diagnostic or security events.

Analytics scripts are loaded only after you allow analytics through our consent banner. When enabled:

  • Google Analytics helps us understand traffic and site usage. Your browser may send Google information such as the page URL, IP address, device information, and interaction data. Learn more in Google's explanation of information from partner sites.
  • Microsoft Clarity helps us understand how pages are rendered and used through interaction measurements such as clicks, scrolling, mouse movement, heatmaps, and session replay. We use this information to improve navigation, content, and site performance. Learn more in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

The Service stores your analytics consent choice in your browser's local storage. You can change that choice by clearing the site's local storage and selecting a new option when the banner appears again. Browser settings and provider tools may offer additional cookie or analytics controls.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • provide, operate, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the Service;
  • create and administer accounts and authenticate users;
  • receive, review, edit, publish, and manage tool submissions;
  • process paid listing services and maintain transaction records;
  • send requested newsletters, account notices, and transactional messages;
  • respond to inquiries, corrections, rights requests, and support needs;
  • understand aggregate usage and improve site content, navigation, and performance;
  • detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms of Service;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements; and
  • protect the rights, safety, and integrity of users, PropAIdir, and the public.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information as needed to perform a contract with you, comply with law, pursue legitimate interests such as operating and securing the Service, or based on your consent. You may withdraw consent for future processing when consent is the applicable basis.

How We Share Information

We may disclose information to service providers that support the Service, including:

  • Sanity, for content, account, and directory data storage;
  • Stripe, for checkout, payment processing, billing support, and fraud prevention;
  • Resend, for newsletter contacts and transactional email delivery;
  • Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, when you consent to analytics;
  • OAuth providers, when you choose a third-party sign-in method; and
  • hosting, infrastructure, security, and professional service providers used to operate and protect the Service.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies and may process information in countries other than your own.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, investigate fraud or security issues, enforce our agreements, protect rights or safety, or support a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets. If a business transfer occurs, personal information may be transferred subject to appropriate notice and applicable law.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use personal information, payments, or commercial relationships to sell rankings or alter independent editorial verdicts.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the Service, maintaining legitimate business and security records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the context in which it was collected.

When information is no longer needed, we may delete it, anonymize it, or isolate it from active use. Copies may remain temporarily in backups, logs, provider systems, or records that must be retained by law. Public listing information may remain available until it is corrected, unpublished, or removed through the editorial process.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a decision about a privacy request. These rights may be limited by applicable exceptions, including security, fraud prevention, recordkeeping, free-expression, and legal obligations.

You may also:

  • update available account information through account settings;
  • unsubscribe from marketing email through the link in the message;
  • decline analytics through the consent banner;
  • use browser controls to manage cookies or local storage; and
  • contact us to request an account or data review.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for promptly notifying us if you suspect unauthorized account activity.

International Processing

PropAIdir and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, providers and participating parties are expected to use lawful mechanisms for cross-border transfers.

Children's Privacy

The Service is designed for business and professional users and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

Third-Party Sites

The Service contains links to AI tools, software vendors, publications, and other third-party websites. We do not control their privacy practices. Review the privacy policy of a third-party service before providing information to it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Service, our practices, providers, or legal requirements. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the date shown above. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service or by email when appropriate.
